Here's a cake which we've already made quite a while ago.
It's an Oreo cake with 2 layers.
Ingredients:
For the dough:
- 4 Eggs
- 160g Sugar
- 120g Chocolate (70%)
- 120g Butter
- 120g Sour Cream
- 120ml Milk
- 200g Flour
- 60g Cacao
- 3TS Baking Powder
- 200g Chocolate Chips
For the icing (USA):
- 250g Butter
- 1 Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 22 Original Oreo Cookies
OR
For the icing (light):
- 150g Whipped Cream
- 2TS Vanilla Essence
- 22 Original Oreo Cookies
Preparation:
For the dough:
1. Beat up the eggs with the sugar
2. Melt the chocolate and mix it with the melted butter
3. Stir in the sour cream and the milk
4. Mix together the flour and baking powder and put together with the cacao into the bowl
5. Toss the chocolate chips in flour and put them in the bowl as well
6. Split the dough into 2 parts and bake them seperately for about 20 minutes in a springform pan (180°C circulating air)
For the icing (USA):
1. Beat the butter with the sweetened condensed milk until it gets very creamy
2. Divide the icing into 2 parts, then put 11 cookies (which have to be cut into small pieces before) into one half of the cream
3. Spread the Oreo-icing on the baked cake and put the second cake on top of it
4. The other icing can be used to spread it all around the cake which can be decorated with the leftover Oreos afterwards
For the icing (light):
1. Whip the cream together with vanilla essence
Watch out:
The cake has to be cooled before eating!
Even half frozen it tastes delicious.
Have a lot of fun while trying this and hopefully everything works perfect! (;
